Microsoft telah merilis update firmware desember 2019 bagi pengguna perangkat Microsoft Surface Pro 7, yang merupakan versi Surface Pro 7 terbaru yang diumumkan oleh Microsoft awal tahun ini.
Ini adalah update firmware kedua yang diterima sejak perangkat ini diluncurkan. Pada perbaikan ini, ada banyak yang dimasukan, dan diantaranya adalah Microsoft memperbarui Intel Control Logic untuk meningkatkan kamera dan kinerja bugcheck sistem terkait. Update driver yang serupa juga tersedia untuk camera modules dan Intel imagining signal processor dan Intel AVStream Camera 2500.
Selain itu update firmware ini memperkenalkan perbaikan untuk kinerja battery Surface Pro 7, sehingga pengguna harus sudah merasakan peningkatan battery life. Surface UEFI Driver juga telah di update ke versi 7.161.140.0 yang membawa tweak untuk Surface Dock USB Performance.
Untuk menginstal Update firmware ini setidaknya membutuhkan Windows 10 1903 sudah terinstal di Surface Pro 7.
