Setelah kemarin Microsoft merilis update KB5035845 untuk para pengguna Winodws 10 20H2, 21H2 dan 22H2 sebagai bagian dari patch tuesday bulan Maret 2024, kini mereka merilis pembaruan tambahan untuk para pengguna Windows Insider Release Preview yang masih menggunakan Windows 10.
Nah update yang hadir kali ni adalah update KB5035941 dan akan mengubah Build OS menjadi 19045.4233. Dan berbeda dengan patch tuesday kemarin yang tidak membawa perubahan signifikan, update ini kini membawa fitur baru termasuk dukungan desktop background windows spotlight yang kini hadir untuk semua insider.
Dengan kata lain, jika sebelumnya kamu belum mendapatkan Windows Spotlight sebagai bagian dari opsi Desktop Background di Windows 10, kini kamu sudah bisa mencobanya secara langsung dengan mengunjungi halaman Settings > Personalization > Background > Personalize your background.
Selain itu, Microsoft juga menambahkan lebih banyak konten ke lockscreen termasuk weather, sports, traffic, dan finance. Pengaturan hal ini bisa kamu akses dari Settings > Personalization > Lock screen jika seandainya kamu tidak menyukainya.
Kemudian ada beberapa peningkatan lain yang mencakup :
- New! This update affects Windows Hello for Business. IT admins can now use mobile device management (MDM) to turn off the prompt that appears when users sign in to an Entra-joined machine. To do this, they can turn on the “DisablePostLogonProvisioning” policy setting. After a user signs in, provisioning is off for Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices.
- When you sign in, you might see a message that invites you to upgrade to Windows 11. This message only appears if your device is eligible for an upgrade. Note this feature might not be available to all users because it will roll out gradually.

Secara umum, semua peningkatan yang disebutkan diatas beberapa diantaranya masih akan diluncurkan secara bertahap, namun jika kamu adalah pengguna Windows Insider Release Preview yang beruntung kamu mungkin akan mendapatkan semua peningkatan tersebut.
