Setelah sebelumnya ada sebuah aplikasi dengan code name Project News Bar muncul di Microsoft Store, kini akhirnya Microsoft telah merilis aplikasi baru tersebut yang kini dipanggil dengan News Bar.
Secara fungsional, aplikasi ini akan melakukan pin news/berita di desktop Windows 10, baik itu di kiri, kanan, bawah, atau atas. Sama seperti yang sudah diperkenalkan sebelumnya.
Meskipun kini di Microsoft Store sudah dirilis, dan sudah tidak membawa nama ‘Project News Bar’ kembali, namun untuk saat ini aplikasi masih berstatus beta, dan masih dalam tahap pengembangan.
“The News Bar brings you the latest news from the Microsoft News network of over 4500 of the world’s most respected journalism brands. In addition, you can configure it to provide you with up to date information throughout the day on your favorite stocks,” Microsoft menjelaskan dalam deskripsi halaman aplikasi.
“Microsoft’s Windows News Bar works just like the Windows Taskbar. It’s there when you need it, where you need it and how you need it. Customize its appearance in settings to find the experience that’s just right for you. If you want to focus, don’t worry, you can minimize the News Bar at any time and then bring it back when you’re ready for it again.”
Untuk kamu yang ingin mencoba, kamu bisa mendownloadnya pada halaman Microsoft Store berikut, namun perlu diketahui juga kamu setidaknya sudah harus menggunakan Windows 10 1803 atau yang lebih baru.
