Dukungan Native Sejumlah File Arsip Kini Hadir di Windows 11 Insider Beta Via Update KB5029352

Beberapa waktu lalu Microsoft merilis update KB5029352 untuk para pengguna Windows 11 Insider Beta Channel. Seperti biasa, versi insider ini dipisahkan menjadi dua bagian berbeda yaitu Build 22621 dengan fitur yang default Off, dan Build 22631 dengan fitur baru yang secara default On.

Dan dengan update KB5029352 ini sendiri, Build OS akan diperbarui menjadi 22621.2199 dan 22631.2199, dimana khusus untuk Build 22531.2199, ada sejumlah fitur baru yang mulai diperkenalkan di Insider Beta, termasuk adanya dukungan untuk sejumlah file arsip seperti (.tar .tar.gz .tar.bz2 .tar.zst .tar.xz .tgz .tbz2 .tzst .txz .rar .7z ).

Dengan adanya dukungan ini, tentunya pengguna tidak lagi harus menginstall aplikasi tambahan untuk membuka dan mengextract file arsip dengan format yang telah disebutkan diatas. Namun meskipun begitu untuk membuat file arsip dengan format tersebut, aplikasi khusus seperti 7Zip, WinZip atau WinRAR tetap diperlukan.

Selain itu guys, ada sejumlah peningkatan tambahan termasuk adanya thumbnail preview di Start Menu, adanya opsi tambahan pada taskbar behavior, dan sejumlah perbaikan dan peningkatan lain yang secara lengkap akan di kutip dibawah.

Known Issues

Sementara itu, ada satu known issues yang wajib kamu tahu, dimana setelah memperbarui system ke Build ini, kamu mungkin akan mendapati check for updates di halaman Settings > Windows Update, tidak bekerja seperti seharusnya.

Untuk melakukan check for updates secara manual, sebelum ada perbaikan dari Microsoft kamu bisa menggunakan Windows Terminal as Administrator dan memasukkan perintah USOClient StartInteractiveScan.
