Baru baru ini, Microsoft mengumumkan bahwa Windows 11 sudah siap untuk broad deployment, hal ini juga didukung dengan adopsi besar besaran terharap Windows 11 dalam beberapa bulan terakhir, bahkan lebih besar ketika pertama kali Windows 10 dirilis dahulu.
Dalam posting bulan Januari lalu yang ditulis oleh Panos Panay, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer di Microsoft, yang mana adalah sebagai berikut:
“Since the launch of Windows 11 in October, we have seen strong demand and preference for Windows 11 with people accepting the upgrade offer to Windows 11 at twice the rate we saw for Windows 10. Windows 11 also has the highest quality scores and product satisfaction of any version of Windows we’ve ever shipped. Product quality was a huge focus for the team, and we took a deliberate and phased approach to how we rolled out the upgrade.”
Secara tegas Panos Panay menjelaskan bahwa Windows 11 itu berkualitas dan memiliki kualitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan versi Windows yang telah Microsoft rilis.
Dan waktu lalu, dalam Event Computex 2022, Panos Panay dalam diskusinya dengan Nicole Dezen, CVP of Device Partner Sales di Microsoft, kembali menegaskan bahwa kualitas dari OS masih menjadi prioritas bagi team development untuk Windows 11.
“And it (Windows 11) has the highest quality scores. Here’s the most important thing for our team, quality, quality, quality. People using it are finding the quality in the product, which has just been awesome. That also translates to product satisfaction. It is the highest product satisfaction of any version of Windows we’ve ever shipped. You kind of see that.“
Meskipun saat ini Windows 11 masih memiliki cukup banyak kekurangan, namun dengan penegasan dari Panos Panay yang notabenenya menjabat sebagai Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer di Microsoft, dapat dikatakan bahwa Microsoft akan menjadikan Windows 11 sebagai anak emasnya, dimana seperti yang telah dijelaskan Panos Panay, bahkan team development di Microsoft sendiri menjadikan Windows 11 sebagai prioritasnya.
